La Catedral del Pádel opens in 2021, within a competitive market in which gaining a foothold is not going to be easy. Its bet is focused on the quality of the service, the highest level tracks, an attention to detail and an incomparable care for the user.
One of the main needs to be covered was a website that allows players to manage bookings in the easiest possible way, providing incomparable value to the user experience. For this, we have created an energetic visual universe in which you want to start playing paddle tenis with friends and new opponents.
Creating the brand
Since the beginning, along with the creation of a website, and soon an App, the need for a logo that works well in environments such as a sign on the facade to the favicon of the web or the icon on the App, became obvious.
We decided to create a ‘stencil’ aesthetic typeface with 2 main purposes. On the one hand, the visual connection with the lines that make the paddle tennis court so recognisable and at a technical level, that is identifiable without losing detail throughout the different sizes.

Colour
Throughout the use of colour, on the website of La Catedral del Pádel we not only sought the establish a link with the appearance of the physical environment, using the bone white of the court’s lines, the yellow of the ball or the green of the grass that decorates the area. We also sought to convey the values of the company itself. Attention to detail, a modern and an energetic atmosphere.

The main function of the website is booking courts to play paddle tennis, that is why this section is the one we worked the most on to make the UX as easy as possible while having a differential UI.
A complete menu
The possibilities offered by the web are bot limited to booking in for matches, it is also necessary to be able to see previous games, profiles, tournaments, the club info… A wide variety of options that we grouped in a quick, simple yet very complete sub-menu.
Built-in Chat
Another key point of the website is the embebed chat. This helps to build a solid community around the club, being able to stay in contact with the players you played with, to congratulate them, invite them to another game or ask for technical advice.
